The Workshop
Are you a wine enthusiast and wish to be initiated or expand your knowledge of wine tasting ?
Did you know that there are 54 aromas that can be found in wine ? Fruity, floral, spicy, animal, vegetal…
You will have a chance to discover different aroma families and train your pallette and nose in a fun and joyful workshop, putting each of your senses into action.
Workshop program
1. Wine cellars visit
The Pavillon Bouachon opens for you its cellars where we age our wines in oak barrels and casks.
2. AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape presentation
Highlight on the climate, soil composition, grape varieties from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape vineyards.
3. Wine-tasting
An educational game « Le Nez du Vin » - guess the wine aromas
Finding the parralles between the aromas in the game and those in the actual wine
Wine-tasting : 3 wines of the AOC Châteauneuf-du-Pape (1 white + 2 red)
Duration : 1,5 hours
